[May 15, 2026] Digital IP entertainment company IPX (formerly LINE FRIENDS), as part of its partnership with global interactive entertainment brand HoYoverse, successfully opened a 'Genshin minini' pop-up store, set against the backdrop of Liyue, the harbor city from the open-world adventure RPG 'Genshin Impact', at K-Pop Square Hongdae.
First introduced in July 2024, 'Genshin minini' are official characters that reinterpret Genshin Impact's original characters with IPX's unique creativity, garnering attention for their cute appearance, embodying a small yet brave charm. The first pop-up, which featured seven Inazuma region characters, including Genshin Impact's mascot 'Paimon', attracted over 10,000 fans during its operation and received an enthusiastic response for its high-quality product lineup and experiential content. This second pop-up is expected to further expand its reach not only to existing Genshin Impact fans but also to new fan bases, leveraging the unique characteristics of Hongdae as a district vibrant with interactions among subculture fans (including those of games and animation) and international tourists.

Decorated with the theme of inviting fans to a warm day with Genshin minini from Liyue, this pop-up features a wooden arched bridge sculpture set against a backdrop of red-tinged cliffs and misty landscapes, immediately drawing attention and immersing visitors in the game's world upon entry. Following this, photo zones adorned with Liyue's iconic characters — Qiqi, Yaoyao, Keqing, Ganyu, Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Xiao, and Zhongli — reborn as Genshin minini, each embodying their unique personalities, captivate visitors. Fans flocked to take commemorative photos with character cosplayers, adding to the vibrant atmosphere, and the announced surprise visits from Genshin Impact voice actors for this pop-up are also generating excitement.
The diverse product lineup, both practical and collectible, is another element visitors won't want to miss. From a wireless charger featuring a prominent Zhongli minini that emits a soft glow when charging, as if guarding a barrier, to minini plush toys and figures, mugs, and keyrings dressed in Liyue attire, these items offer an experience of having Genshin minini accompany you in everyday life outside the game.
Fans who visited the pop-up shared various reactions, such as: “The atmosphere of Liyue Harbor is perfectly recreated... Taking photos with the Genshin minini makes me feel like I'm inside the game,” and “Zhongli minini crash-landed in our world, and even though he's small, his presence is still as strong as ever.”
Meanwhile, IPX plans to expand this Genshin minini pop-up, which runs until the 24th, to global regions such as Japan and Taiwan, meeting fans worldwide.
