[October 30, 2024] Digital IP entertainment company IPX (formerly LINE FRIENDS) unveiled a collaboration between the global character “BROWN (BROWN)” and the popular local cafe brand “CAMEL Coffee (CAMEL Coffee),” and will open an exclusive “CAMEL X LINE FRIENDS (CAMEL X LINE FRIENDS)” pop-up store at LINE FRIENDS Square Shinsa.
“Camel Coffee” started as a cafe in 2017 and has expanded into fields such as culture, art, fashion, and lifestyle, and is loved by the MZ generation for its unique sensibility. It has become a hot spot in front of Dosan Park, and in addition to collaborating with various brands such as Louis Vuitton, Reebok, and Castify, it has become a cafe brand that people line up to visit with its unique flavor and vintage sensibility. The encounter between IPX and Camel Coffee, which have numerous fandoms due to their unique heritage and expertise, is expected to be reinvented as a collaboration with a unique sensibility with high collectible value to deliver a new brand experience.
In particular, along with this collaboration, IPX introduced Camel Coffee's new character IPs “MOKA (MOKA)” and “FLUFFY BOY (FLUFFY BOY)”, which were creatively planned and produced by IPX. This collaboration, which tells the story of a special encounter between “Brown,” who has transformed into a reticent yet affectionate barista, and “Mocha,” who wants everyone in the world to enjoy his own coffee, and “Fluffy Boy,” who is responsible for his styling, will bring a warm sensibility to many fans this fall.
This pop-up, which will be open until November 13, is decorated in a space reminiscent of a vintage camel coffee shop, and features the unique sensibility of camel coffee and the cute yet friendly appeal of brown. Also, various products such as the brown-colored “mocha” plush with a coffee scent, “brown” plush, petite closet with the artwork “atelier BF (Best Friends)” printed on it, plush key rings, mugs, camel coffee drip bags, T-shirts, and ball caps are popular gift items with high collectible value. On the day of opening, the CEO of Camel Coffee, as well as influencers from various industries visited and attracted the attention of many visitors, and fans continued to visit endlessly to take certified shots along with “Mocha” and “Brown,” which made a surprise appearance at the scene.
